Funny isn't given a lot of credit anymore. People expect a show must also be hip, snarky, too smart for its own good in order to be considered good. "My Boys" is one of those rare times when I watch a show and wish I could be hanging out with that crowd. (Something "Seinfeld" was never able to do for me - as hip and funny as I found that, who'd want to be friends with them?) This show would have died on a major network.
