The Hot Doggin’ Blowmonkeys

Winning by over 100 points, the Blowmonkeys mounted a steady climb during the last half of the season, helped by some smart trades and an having drafted BOTH American Idol Wednesday (the stronger of the two dates) and Dancing With the Stars.

Second place was captured by Again Ham Sandwich, the winner of last fall’s inaugural FTL, but only beat out third place’s Hoth Rebels by two (2!) points.

Again Ham Sandwich and The Hot Doggin’ Blowmonkeys will both be awarded lush new MagneticMediaFed T-Shirts, and the Blowmonkeys, being the cream of the crop, are taking home the first season of The Wire on DVD.

One more noteworthy item: My team, the MagneticMediaFed “control” team, which I drafted but didn’t trade with, finished in 18th place — exactly in the middle of the pack. Pretty great, right?

Thanks to everyone who played. I hope you had a good time. I certainly did. We here at FTL HQ are taking the summer off, but the fall 2007 season will certainly be getting underway sometime in August, so stay tuned!
