Weekenders
1) I updated my review of Jericho after watching the second episode, but did it change my mind?
2) The Wire premieres on HBO this Sunday night at 10:00pm ET PLEASE WATCH THIS SHOW. Even if you don’t have HBO, everyone knows someone who does. Befriend that person. Otherwise, there’s always more illicit means though I would NEVER encourage such behavior.
The Simpsons starts its 18th season this Sunday as well.
3) I have the season four first episode of Nip/Tuck sitting on my DVR right now. I’ve never seen an episode of the show and wonder if I ever will. Does anyone watch it, and if so would you like to read about it on MMF? I’m trying to streamline my “regulars” for the fall and Nip/Tuck is on the cusp. Let me know.
4) As for next week, I’ve seen the first three episodes of CBS’s new comedy The Class as well as the first episode of this season’s How I Met Your Mother. Expect a full report Monday or Tuesday.

I watch Nip/Tuck.
1. Don’t ever call it “Nip and Tuck” or you will be considered an amateur.
2. I’m only watching this season to see how they will recover from the crapzy plot of season 3. Well, that’s what I’m claiming.

It should be noted that the MetaCritic score for The Wire Season 4 is at 98. So if for whatever reasons you continue to read this site yet find me utterly untrustworthy, the rest of the county can’t be wrong.

Nip/Tuck is the ultimate guilty pleasure show. I was so excited for its season premiere last week - and also a bit ashamed at how excited I was.
It’s fantastic.
