Boo. How does this show make potentially gag-inducing set-ups so awesome? The daddy-daughter talk in the car about the new small town feeling like “home”, the injured qt giving the new guy an impromptu lesson under the lights of the football field (with crescendoing background music), the “a kid’s got to know how to protect himself” speech from the bully-turned-role model... the actors/writers/lighting guys/whoever pull it off consistently.
