MagneticMediaFed puts out a call for backup.

Backup“I think we’re gonna need a bigger boat.”

As I look at all of the fall premiere dates and then try to figure out exactly how I’m going to get all of the requisite television watched and still have time for, y’know, sleep, I came up with the following conclusion: it can’t be done (well, it probably CAN be done, just not by me).

So I’m putting out a request for some help. There are two series this fall I won’t be watching, but which should get some prominent placement on this blog because they’re both fairly popular and/or culturally significant. More on this after the jump…

The first of these is Heroes second season on NBC which will no doubt be the cause of much debate amonst people who like their narratives absolutely jam-packed with characters. The second is Grey’s Anatomy a show I’ve never seen despite it being one of the highest rated programs in all of television.

MagneticMediaFed wants to do the right thing, but lines have to be drawn somewhere or I may never see the sun again.

If you’re a fan of either of these shows and have a desire to write episode recaps and thoughts each week, please send me an email (rick at magneticmediafed dot com). I can’t say there is any particular glory involved in this gig (or money, for that matter), but perhaps something can be worked out.

As hilarious as it would be for me to write about Heroes — because I’m ignorant, not actually hilarious — I’ll leave it to someone more informed.

I am willing to bet the none Heroes watching only lasts a few episodes..

Even if, I still need some help.

You know how I love the Heroes, Rick… but I don’t think I’m legally allowed to publish anywhere without consent from my employer. That’s a shame, because I’d like to do it. Maybe I’ll ask my boss.

I did send this to my roommate, she watches both and writes.
