Television 1936-2007

Television’s Funeral“You weasel!”

Oh television, we barely knew you. Once a bastion of entertainments both important and trivial, this year you were reduced to rubble after the writer’s strike sucked out your very essence — original, scripted programming. And now, you’re dead. But! Could there be a resurrection? Perhaps. It appears the strike could be coming to a close. I fear it is too late. After the jump, please enjoy MagneticMediaFed’s first foray into this whole “web video” sensation everyone has been talking about, as we throw a funeral for television…

Best piece of originally written comedy so far this year. (Outside the Late Show.)

Nice! Two related propositions: What if your TV really IS a robot head from the future? And what if God really IS a weasel? Where does that leave us?

Okay, no propositions — just three questions.

I laughed, I cried…it was better than Gremlins and E.T. Next time, I’ll bring the whole family. Yule Brenner is the sexiest man alive. Now and forever at the Winter Garden Theater.

This was the first video I watched on my new computer a few weeks ago. What a great way to christen it. Props.

This was just great–the next time we have an appliance die, we would like you all to come to Iowa to officiate at the ceremony.
