As far as how Sandler compared to other guest hosts, I'd say he did an adequate job given that he was clearly out of his element. He also had more comedy elements built into the show than previous guest hosts. Bringing your dog out on stage for the duration of the program was kind of brilliant in its deflection of awkward interview moments. Sidebar: Danika Patrick is gorgeous. I watched (natch).
