“Pushing Daisies” — Dummy

DummyDon’t tase me bro!

So far so good. The show wasn’t just a pilot. Of course this episode was still directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, so we might have to wait another week before making a final judgment. Still, things are looking very positive for fans of super-stylized fairy-tales on network TV. More after the jump…

“Pushing Daisies” — Pilot

Last night’s premiere of Pushing Daisies on ABC has been almost universally praised as the best new series of the year. You won’t hear an argument about that from me, though the show does have one extremely problematic element in its presentation: we have absolutely no idea what episode two is going to be like.
