So far so good. The show wasn’t just a pilot. Of course this episode was still directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, so we might have to wait another week before making a final judgment. Still, things are looking very positive for fans of super-stylized fairy-tales on network TV. More after the jump…

Last night’s premiere of Pushing Daisies on ABC has been almost universally praised as the best new series of the year.
