“Grey’s Anatomy” - Let the Truth Sting

That's one sexy hospital!Sad is mine, go find your own pretend emotion.

It’s been a long week at work. And coming home after another day, all I wanted was to watch some quality television. 30 Rock got it right; The Office, too; but what about Grey’s Anatomy? Well, it didn’t meet my expectations this week. Since Mer was VO-ing about the consequences of telling the truth in the episode, I will do the same. More after the jump…

It wasn’t an unwatchable hour of TV. There were interesting patients, a cool surgery, a squeamish scene in the clinic, and some good characters moments. I should add strong writing into the mix but the good lines stood out a little too well. For example:

“I’m going. I’m a feuts” – Derek
“I’m not Izzie! I’m not going to lie on the bathroom floor all day.” – Christina
“Sad is mine, go find your own pretend emotion.” – Christina
“I’m blondie. I’m the other woman. I’m a bad ‘50’s cliché.” – Izzie

Or maybe I am just bitter because I am stressed out and could care less about the George-Izzie-Callie love triangle. Or Alex becoming his former cocky self. Or Mer wanting Christina to talk about her relationship with Burke.

Wait. Scratch that. The choice for Mer encouraging friends to talk about their relationship problems and be unwilling to discuss her own was awesome.
